A: No, our estimates come free of charge and with no obligations. Jonathan or Donald will come to your home to show samples and take measurements so that we may give you the most accurate estimate possible.
A: We can to replace everything from the balusters, rails, newels, treads and risers to the stairs themselves. We offer both wood and iron balusters and can install any style of wood for both the stairs and handrails.
A: That depends on the level of difficulty. Most baluster replacements can be completed in one day, while a complete stair and handrail replacement may take one or two more. We always do our best to give you an accurate timeframe.
A: We stand by our work and if there is ever a problem with any portion of a job, we will repair it free of charge.
A: Yes. Interior stairs are usually wood or wood and iron, while exterior stairs are usually custom iron. We can do it all.
A: We'll pretty much do anything you want with wood. We do rails, trim, chair rail, wainscoting, wall panels, raised panels, recessed panels, benches, shelves, mantels, fireplaces, window trim, hardwood floors, cabinets, crown moulding, custom theatres and entertainment centers, and we've even been known to make the occasional child's toy. A: Just like with wood, we can do pretty much anything you need. We do fences, gates, doors, rails, spindles, posts, panels, decorative iron wall art, iron chandeliers, exterior iron spiral stairways, wine cellars, wine racks, enclosed entries, window boxes, balconies, and scale replicas of world monuments.
A: You can browse through our extensive Gallery and have a look at some of the projects we've already completed. You can also look at the products offered by our Suppliers. We can order install anything you choose from their catalogues. Also, House of Forgings has an excellent Stairpro Stair Design Tool on their site. You can put together any combination of wood and iron newels and balusters by dragging them onto the picture of a stair, then you can print your creation or save it as a pdf file and email it to us.
